Bringing the gift of classical music performance to rural Siskiyou County, California. We organize, fund, and host six yearly community concerts with world class musicians in Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir, CA, for all audiences.

Our music education programs feature vocalists, strings and mixed instrumental ensembles which include, most importantly, student participation!
Carol Medrano Scholarship
The Carol Medrano Memorial Scholarship fund supports a yearly scholarship of $2,000 to benefit Siskiyou County high school graduates and College of the Siskiyous students who plan to major in music or music education.

Music by the Mountain has developed a list of individuals in Siskiyou County and Redding, California, who provide vocal and instrumental music lessons. The list is sorted by Instrument taught. We hope it helps you connect with the right teacher.
